In 2020, Jupiter - the Abundance planet - moves into practical Capricorn in a numerological Master Builder year - 4. This indicates we can expect growth in many areas that make up the foundation of our lives - finances, career, family. In the same year, Saturn moves conjunct with Pluto for most of the year which forbodes opposition between the practical and ephemeral. CafeAstrology.com says this about the Saturn-Pluto conjunction: Whereas Pluto seeks increased power and control through our undertakings, career, and reputation or status in the sign of Capricorn, Saturn seeks perfection, increased performance, and proof that we’re worth something. Saturn attempts to clean up some of the excesses or obsessions of Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto tears down, Saturn builds, and in this sense, it’s a powerful combination. This transit may demand hard work at remodeling and renovating our careers and goals and encourages us to release what no longer serves us.
So how can you best navigate this intense landscape? Here are a few practical actions.
(1) Keep calm and carry on. There are several ways to keep your equilibrium on the daily: Take an imaginary journey to your Happy Place. Meditate on joy and inner peace. Breathe deeply and often. Go to the spa or enjoy a bubble bath soak. Take a walk in nature. Stay aware of the thoughts scrambling through your brain and choose positivity.
(2) Keep your eyes on the prize. If you don’t have a positive vision for your life to guide or inspire you annually, now is a great time to establish one! (3) Maintain your Positivity. Reject fear, anxiety, self-criticism, judgement. LAUGH! Seek inspiration and things that make you smile or Light You Up. Sing, dance, create, play with children, take a walk in nature. Check out a new podcast, do something off of your bucket list, try something new. The health benefits of positivity and maintaining low stress levels are off the charts. Take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally!
(4) Hang out with your Tribe. Don’t go it alone! Seek company with like-minded individuals either online or in person. Join a gym, a Meet-up, a book group, a Facebook group. Get involved!
Above all else, keep in mind that Thoughts Become Things - Think Joy, Beauty and Love!
